Southern California is not cooling down. This weekend we got up into the 100’s…again. Also this weekend, Michael and I took a trip up to visit his parents in the mountains. It was wayyyy nicer up there. It actually was cool and definitely felt more like fall. Plus, all of the leaves were changing colors. It was so beautiful. I think this is definitely one of my favorite times of years. I can’t wait to go apple picking and carve pumpkins!
This outfit was perfect for the some-what cooler weather in the mountains or just transitioning into fall in general. Adding a cardigan to almost any outfit can make it fall-ish! I think this tank top fits more into a fall vibe, especially because of the color, and it has leaves on it..that kind of works too. How’s the weather where you are? What’s your favorite way to transition into fall?

Ugh Vegas is so hot, too. That trip to the mountains sounds like such a nice break! Super cute outfit 🙂

I bet! I am so sick of the heat. It needs to start cooling down already!
Such a cute fall outfit. I love your rolled jeans and ankle boots. 🙂

Thank you! I feel like the only way to wear booties is to roll them. I don’t seem to like them any other way on me.
I love this look, I’ve been in the same boat with the fall weather not being so fall like yet. This week we’re finally getting more weather in the 70s in North Carolina, but mostly I’ve been wearing similarly light tops as the humidity here can be nasty. I’m looking forward to the apples and pumpkins and have been making apple cinnamon tea often.
I am so sorry you have to relate to me on the heat. Isn’t it just miserable in September! I am so ready to break out my scarves and sweaters!
Fall is my favorite season especially in New England where I live. Those booties are so cute! I’ve been looking for some to add to my closet and these may be the ones!
Oh I am so jealous! I bet it is so lovely where you are right now. This So Cal heat is really killing me.
I love that bag. I’m a sucker for satchel-style bags that are actually big enough to carry your stuff around in 🙂
Me too!! I carry way to much stuff around with me so I need a bag that can handle it all.
