A weekly review of what Mariah’s been buying, reading, watching, and what her weekend plans are. It’s just a Friday Feeling kind of a thing!
Y’all it is almost March! That’s my birthday month which makes it extra special. My birthday is March 13th which is a day that will just live in history as the day the country shut down. Last year’s birthday was so eerie! Hopefully I can actually celebrate this one a little bit even though it marks that this pandemic has been going on for a year!! That right there is also a crazy fact! We’ve been living with COVID for a year! Remember when everything shut down and they were like oh it’ll be two weeks?! HA! Craziness!
Anyway – on another note, if you’ve been following my instagram stories than you know that I am starting an email newsletter! I’ll be sending out the first one Monday with a fun little Q&A and then moving forward this series, That Friday Feeling, will be moving to the newsletter. So if you look forward to these style of posts please sign up to get them in your inbox!
It’s planting weekend! I’m having a nice little girls day on Saturday with my mama while Adam is traveling for work. It’s time to tend to the gardens, so we are gonna plant some veggies at my house and hers. I even got some information on how to grow potatoes in bags! I ordered these off amazon, so wish us luck!
It’s been awhile since my last watching rounding up so I have quite a few names to share.
The most recent thing Adam and I finished was season 2 of Blown Away on Netflix. It’s a glass blowing competition show and we love it! The episodes are shorter about 30 minutes long, but it’s so fascinating! I highly recommend.
An obvious one that everyone has been on to and probably finished by now is Bridgerton. I haven’t read the books, and I don’t think I’m going to. I’ll stick to watching each season as they come out. Also, if you missed it Regé-Jean Page, The Duke, hosted SNL last weekend and totally killed it! This skit was my favorite of the night.
Finally, I am all caught up on The Bold Type which just announced they are going to be finishing the series with season 5! I’m so sad the show is going to end, but also glad it actually will get an ending. Season 4 ended abruptly when they had to stop filming because of the pandemic and the last episode feels completely unfinished.
We have a wedding to attend next month, and I’ve been on the hunt for a dress. These are just a few options that I’ve been eyeing.
Sadly, I haven’t really been reading many blogs lately. Since working from home I don’t sit in front of the computer as much so my bloglovin hasn’t been kept up with. However, I think that’s also why my reading goal for the year has been a breeze so far. You can see what I read in January here.
