That Friday Feeling No. 25

by
moos musing friday feeling

A weekly review of what Mariah’s been buying, reading, watching, and what her weekend plans are. It’s just a Friday Feeling kind of a thing!

Shop this sweatshirt here.

Holy cow it’s been a long time since I’ve done a That Friday Feeling post! We were in the middle of quarantine when I wrote the last one. Doesn’t that feel like it just happened, and yet so far away at the same time. The world has been through so much since March. This really has been one long tough year.

Weekend Plans

This weekend we are finally taking our Christmas card photo. We were suppose to take it last weekend, but it was raining so we had to reschedule. Growing up we never did family photos or sent Christmas cards. Now being married I am so excited to send cards!

Shopping/Buying

Alllll the holiday decor! Target’s Christmas section is out and there are so many good items. People are decorating so early this year and I’ve seen so many homes I already love. The one that comes to mind is Shelby’s little wooden village.

I bought a few new items at Target this year (which you can shop in the widget below) to go along with all my Christmas decor from last year.

Watching

I’ve been watching soooo many good things lately! Anyone else feel like there’s been a ton of great releases. From Emily In Paris to The Queens Gambit, I loved both of those! I recently watched Holidate too and thought it was adorable. A little more vulgar than a Hallmark Movie but still super cute.

Adam and I have also been watching Suits together. I know I’m totally behind on this one, but I am loving it! He’s seen it before, but I am hooked!

Reading

Natalie shared some major tips on how to find less expensive dupes of clothing or accessories. My favorite tip is the google image search!

Audrey shared a very vulnerable blog post all about her acne journey. It reminds me a lot of my own skin problems.

There’s some congratulations to go around. To Dana for 8 years of blogging and to Jess for an amazing rebrand!

In Case You Missed It

There’s been quite a few blog posts since my last round up! I compiled a long list of my favorite podcasts, and divided it up into category. I also shared my tips on how to have long healthy hair, and an updated skincare routine.

I loved Emily in Paris (such a me show if I’m being honest) but also enjoyed the Queen’s Gambit which I wasn’t sure I would like since it is a bit darker than the romcoms I usually love. I need to do some more reading!

Same Adaleta! It was darker than I normally go for, but really did enjoy it.

I saw those little Target houses, and I love them so much! I think I’m going to get a few for our dining room.

We also didn’t used to take family photos during Christmas but since having my own family it’s also become a tradition for us. I have not heard of The Queen’s Gambit and definitely need to check it out!

I was inspired by Shelby’s village as well! Clearly, I’m not alone- and for good reason. It was gorgeous! Love seeing a little more into your life and other blogging activities with this post! Hope you have a great weekend.
