That Friday Feeling No. 13

My motivation is serious lacking lately. I’m realizing that when I feel on top of things in my work and personal lives I thrive in writing blog posts, but when I’m overwhelmed with those things the blog suffers. Oh balance, something that rarely sticks around for long in life.

Buying

I have been shopping a lot the last two weeks. There have been SO many good sales going on! J Crew 40% off, J Crew Factory Birthday Bash, Anthropologie is having a major sale on clearance, American Eagle and Aerie, and Dermstore. My credit card is seriously takin’ the hit here, but so much good stuff! I’m also on the hunt now for new sweaters. I feel like I’ve hung onto old ones for so long and I don’t wear them. They just need to go. If ya have any places for your go to work sweaters, help a girl out!

Watching

Lately I have been back on a Downton Abbey kick. Maybe it’s because they announced they are making a movie or maybe I just really miss the show. Also can’t skip out on This Is Us. Two weeks in and I still haven’t fully cried yet! The first episode got me a little teary, and the second was ehh okay. Comment below if you’ve been watching. I love a good Jack and Rebecca discussion. I also started the show A Million Little Things. This is the first season and so far I am digging it! Anyone else?

Reading

Then I can’t not share my blogger BFF’s Date Night Outfit post. Rachel looks seriously soooo good in these photos! I also love the idea of a week night date night to break up the work week. It’s a good midweek distraction.

I shared the a super easy and cute pillow DIY early this week. It’s so simple and really fun to do with a group of people. My girlfriends and I did a little breakfast and painting party and it was a blast! Also if where you live is anywhere like So Cal than you’ve barely hit cooler weather. The color of these shorts are perfect for fall, but still keep you cool!
