A few weeks into 2018 and man has life changed. Have you seen that meme going around that says something about “January only being a trial month and the real year starts in February?” Can that be true please? Like okay, we made it through the fake start of the year and maybe now we are a little more prepared to do it. My January has been less than ideal. I don’t know if I’m ready to talk about it on here yet. I’ve shared my life a lot and that’s okay, but maybe this time around no explanation is needed. God’s teaching me a lot, and maybe I’ll write about that soon. For now though I’m taking life day by day with whatever the Lord is throwing at me and I’m learning to trust in His plan. Because it’s always better right? I’ve learned that time and time again. His ways are always better. I know I’ve been absent from the blog a lot lately, and that does make me sad. I love blogging. Yet, when life seems less than ideal it makes me feel very inspired and very unmotivated to do anything. I haven’t known what to write so I just don’t write at all. But I miss it, I do. I just have to find a way to start being inspired again.
What’s your January been like? Are you used to writing 18 on everything yet? Surprisingly I haven’t messed it up yet! Getting back into the swing of things at work has been easy, and they adjusted my hours so I’m off a bit earlier. That part is literally so nice! I leave just as the sun is setting. So much better than pitch black!
I work in an office that requires business casual attire. No denim allowed. We don’t even get a casual Friday. Booooo! Finding fun work clothes is always a challenge. Loft definitely has my favorite slacks and their petites fit me the best. This blazer is seriously such a fun addition to my work clothes! The color alone makes me love it, but the sleeves are just so fun! I got so many compliments on it! SheIn also has it in a few other colors. I would say that it runs true to size or maybe even a little big, but it’s suppose to be a jacket so I didn’t expect it to be tight. I really just think it’s so cute!
