Today I decided to share my typical make up routine with y’all! On most days, I keep my makeup pretty simple since I prefer to look as natural as possible. There are days when I like to have a little more fun; and I mean I love lipstick just as much as the next girl, however, this is the stuff that I use on any plain ol’ day.
I typically start off with this primer. I have oily skin and so anything that helps me stay matte throughout the day I will automatically give a chance to! Next I use a damp Real Techniques Sponge to apply Loreal’s Infallible Foundation. I’m the shade “natural buff”. Once everything is all blended I use Physicians Formula Concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes. I finish off my face with powder and blush! I absolutely love Milani’s baked blushes! I have a few different shades for highlighting depending on the season of summer or fall. This shade is Rose D’Ore.
After finishing up the face, I head on up to my eyes! Of course I start with curling my eye lashes! I think this is such an important step that a lot of people tend to skip. I like to then get on with my eyeshadow. This is a palette that I tend to use on and off. Then I move on to lining my eyes. I like this gel liner from Maybelline. I have it in both brown and black. I like that they come with their own little adorable brushes too. For mascara, I change what I use alllll the time! Right now I am using Maybelline’s Colossal and I like it. It’s working out really well right now. Then I finish by filling in my brows, and applying some chapstick or this balm stain.Â
You guys I have to talk about Revlon’s Colorburst Balm Stain. This shade is Honey, and I’ve had Smitten before as well. I love this balm stain. It applies kind of like a lipstick. I like to call it a crayon because that’s what it looks like to me. However, off of my childish tangent, I absolutely love them. They last pretty much all day, and are easy to apply without a mirror. You have to try them out!
You’re beautiful! I can’t wait to try a few of these. I always feel inspired when someone else with brown eyes posts about their makeup routines.

Me too! I totally understand! I feel like brown hair blue eyes are so rare.
Oh my goodness, you are adorable! I love these tips, and I will definitely have to check out that lip stain.
Yes do it! I love them!
I am so bad at putting my makeup on in the morning. This has inspired me to simplify my routine! Thank you!
First of all, you are ABSOLUTELY beautiful! Wonderful smile! I love that you tagged the products you use, makes it easy for me to find, and I may have to go shopping! 😉
Thank you! Yes, I always love going shopping for make up 😉
Thanks for sharing. I struggle with oily skin too and will give the primer a try.
Thanks
It is so hard to deal with sometimes. I have to be so careful about the type of foundation I use. Primer definitely helps keep my oil under control throughout the day.
That is one of my all time favorite drug store mascaras!
This is the first time I’ve bought it, and I’m enjoying it!
Very pretty! Like you, I don’t usually have too much time to really beat my face to the gods. 😊 But these tips are really great! I’ll definitely be trying the Revlon lip stain now. I’ve been eyeing for awhile, but wasn’t sure if I’d really like it. It looks great on you, so I’m going for it!
Thanks! 🙂 I love the shade Honey since it is so close to my natural lip color.
Your skin looks flawless! I need to try that blush!
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! This is such a compliment!
