Magnolia Farms!! Yup, I got to see the Silos! I still can’t believe it. That place is magic. Serious magic. It was such a blessing that I got to go. I ended up having a day free while I was in Texas and was able to visit Waco. It was definitely a short trip but so so fun!

I visited on a Friday and I was told that was “less busy.” I’m not really sure what a weekend would look like because there was still a lot of people. I went in with the mindset that there would be a lot of people, the lines would be long, and things would be expensive. This way when I got there I wasn’t surprised at how hot it was or how long the line for the bakery would take (hello 30 minutes). With this mindset though I had a blast!

Since I don’t live on my own I wasn’t visiting with the intention to buy decor. I wanted a shirt and something for my mama, but I really simply wanted the experience. I started by exploring the store and seeing what shirts they had and what I would want to spend my money on. As expected everything is perfectly decorated and displayed. The front part of the store is smaller and air conditioned while the back part is more of the warehouse and only has fans. Items are definitely not cheap but not like pottery barn expensive. If you go in with that mindset than I don’t think you will be upset with the prices. They do also have a small sale section near the back of the warehouse. I bought two shirts, a hat, and a magnolia flower.

After shopping I headed out to the grassy area out back. There are food trucks all around and the cutest little sweat tea truck. I had so much sweet tea while visiting (probably one of my fav parts of the South!). We ate at their picnic tables which were under some shade with misters and had a straight on view of the Silos. It was a great little lunch spot. Once done and powered up for the rest of the trip that bakery line was next. While the cupcakes were great they weren’t really anything special if ya ask me. The icing is soooo good but still kinda eh as an overall cupcake goes. I will say they were fairly priced though.

Overall, I loved every second of my visit. I’d love to go again simply to see more of Waco and visit all spots from Fixer Upper. I only had a few hours to spend there but you really only need a few hours at Magnolia. Have you ever been before? Any tips or tricks for people? Share your experience in the comments below!
