It’s been quit a while since my last Wedding Wednesday post, and man has a lot happened! Since then, we eloped and are still hoping for our big wedding next year. Eventually I’ll be sharing all those details here, but for not you can head to instagram for all the sneak peeks.

Today I wanted to share my bridal shower that my mom, sister, and best friend threw for me. It was absolutely perfect, and they pulled off exactly what I wanted. I truly felt so special and loved! It was the first real wedding event I got to have because of COVID and I totally felt like a bride!

The Theme

Love In Bloom – Since the party was hosted at my parents house, and they have they best backyard I knew I wanted it outside. My mom has such a green thumb and our back patio is just covered in potted plants. It totally helped make the vibe feel like a little garden party.

There were two things I wanted most at the bridal shower, a princess like chair and a bouquet bar. My mother killed it with both! The peonies draping down the side of the chair were just lovely! The bouquet bar was the biggest hit with my guests! By far their favorite part. We had brown paper rolled up for them and some greenery and blooms that each guest could make their own little bouquet to take home with them. I loved how much each guest loved this part of the party.

The Food

The shower was hosted in the morning, and I absolutely despise showers that go to long. I wanted it to last no more than 2 hours! We served mostly breakfast food and did a little parfait bar. My mom even bought me non dairy yogurt!

Overall, the day was absolutely perfect! It was so fun to finally feel like a bride and do some wedding related things. What was your bridal shower like? Do you have a dream shower?
