Influenster recently sent me a complimentary Laura Mercier Vox Box featuring their newest foundation: The Flawless Fusion Foundation. Being that I have oily acne prone skin I am so picky about my foundation! I don’t like any cakey, but full coverage is a must! I also really need coverage that stays on all day and doesn’t melt away. Nothing is worse than seeing yourself halfway through the day and wondering where the heck your make up went.
The description that the Flawless Fusion Foundation has is pretty impressive, and I was curious to try it out and see if it actually proved to be true. The card that it came with said that it was a long wearing foundation that was weightless, had 15 hour wear, a matte finish, oil free, and transfer resistant. All of these are some pretty high things to claim. I mean transfer resistant alone is a big plus!
I’ve bene using The Flawless Fusion Foundation for a little over a week now, and man am I impressed! I don’t have to pump out very much (about two pumps) to get the coverage that I love. It goes on so thin and I don’t even feel like I’m wearing make up. It’s hard for me to describe it, but it just feels so soft during application. It dries pretty fast so I do have to buff it in quickly. I usually work check to check, then forehead down. So once I apply it to my skin I buff in quickly and make sure it’s blended well before heading to the next area. The coverage is definitely matte, and I don’t feel like it disappears as the day continues. Seriously, so impressed by this stuff!
I received the shade 2N2 Linen. It’s a little more bronze than I am, which totally works for summer, but I may have to go down a shade in winter.
Thank you Influenster and Laura Mercier for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I should try this! It sounds like I have the same skin type as you, so I think it would work for me also!
Yay for oily and acne prone skin. This stuff really is mattifying.
