My OFO is turned off and I have been back to reality for a full two weeks now. I’ve mentioned this a few times already but man was coming back from vacation hard! Maybe because it was such a long trip (12 days) but my oh my have I struggled getting back into a routine.

We did and saw so much on our trip! As the title of this post suggest there were 3 main places that we visited. For those of you who don’t know my boyfriend is from Florida and so that’s where the trip started. Meeting the parents! It was so fun to finally get to see where Adam is from and meet his family.

His family owns some land out in the middle of Florida and have created a little oasis. We started our trip there with them and it was probably one of my favorite things we did.

Considering we flew into Orlando we had to do something Disney related. I’ve never been to the Magic Kingdom and still need to check that off my bucket list, but Epcot was very fun. I’d been once as a child and loved the different countries just as much as an adult.

From Florida we drove up to Savannah and spent a day there. Adam had been to all of these places before, but they were completely new to me. Savannah was beautiful! We walked around a bit and then decided to do a trolley tour which was actually so fun! I highly recommend it. We did the option where we could hop on and off so we could stop in shops or get food at the different parts around the city.
Just about the entire weekend we were spending up the East Coast was rainy. Charleston gave us a little bit better weather than we thought, but boy did I experience the southern rain storms!

After spending the majority of the day in Savannah we finished the drive up the coast to Charleston. As we exited Savannah I was so amazed that we just crossed over the bridge and boom, were in South Carolina. I didn’t realize Savannah was right on the border.
In Charleston we stayed with some of Adams friends, and they showed us around a ton! The first full day we spent just the two of us and explored a little on our own. One of my favorite things to do is tour old houses or manors, so finding a plantation was a must! There were a few around Charleston that I could chose from but we ended up at Drayton Hall.

The rest of the trip was spent exploring Charleston. We ate some great meals and visited some really cool restaurants. I plan on creating a little weekend guide of all the things we did. One of the ways we toured the city was by bike which was really handy!

Overall, it was such a fun trip and was so cool to finally visit Charleston. It’s been on the top of my list for some time. It was such a beautiful city and I can’t wait to go back already.
Coming back from vacation is the absolute worst!!!! Love all of these photos of the two of you (and your cute lace up sandals!), I’m so glad you guys had fun!!
