The Power of She with Athleta

Let’s chat work out gear! I am usually an old ratty college t-shirt and hand me down running shorts kind of girl. Old t-shirts is honestly what I sleep in too…I am starting to buy matching pajama sets lately and kinda digging it (but that could be its own post). I have purchased some work out leggings from Forever 21 before still they aren’t the best quality. Enter Athleta! Y’all when they say ya get what you pay for it is true in so many areas and this is one of them! The quality of these tights are seriously incredible! I honestly started this collaboration off thinking there couldn’t be that much difference between my Forever 21 gear and Athleta but boy is there!

With this collaboration I got to shop in my local Athleta store. I had so much fun trying on all the different types of tights they have and picking which ones I wanted. That whole try on haul is saved to my instagram stories, hopefully you were already following along with the fun! They have a huge variety of tights, pants, and tops. In store and online can be divided up into activity or just the piece of work out gear you are looking for. They had tights, capris, pants, and even jeans in store.

I tried on multiple different pairs and styles of their tights and honestly loved all of them. The fabric is SO soft! I couldn’t get over how comfortable they were. I was also pleasantly surprised that the tights weren’t see through at all! When I tried on these white floral tights they even seem to be lined with a second layer which is such a relief! Nothing is more embarrassing than seeing a girl work out at the gym and her leggings are see through. We have all noticed someone like this before I’m sure. It isn’t a concern at all with these floral tights! Not only is the fabric super soft in 2018 40% of the fabrics they are are no from sustainable fibers! How cool is that?!

It’s really amazing to see a brand care about the earth and environment like that. Athleta also has a really great moto. Their mission is to ignite a community of active, healthy, confident women and girls who empower each other to realize their limitless potential. Healthy confident women. I think we all need to push each other to achieve those goals and to feel great in our skin. They are inspired by what women are capable of and so am I. We, as women, are capable of so many incredible things! I like that Athleta stands behind that. Just like a few blogs posts ago we are each fearfully and wonderfully made and we should all resonate with that.
