Happy Monday friends! I hope y’all had a great weekend and are prepared to take on the week ahead of you. My weekend was pretty relaxing and I didn’t do my makeup once! It was lovely. I always try to give my face one day make up free a week and to get two days is so nice! When you do that it really lets your skin breathe and totally helps any acne I have calm down a bit. It’s so important to give your skin a break when you can. That is a big tip of mine.
My weekend mostly revolved around basketball and designing wedding invitations. As I said in Friday’s post it was the PacWest Championships here at work. Sadly, our boys lost in the final round ๐ Our season isn’t over yet with the Division II West Regionals coming. Hopefully we can pull through! I also just worked on a clients wedding invitations and finishing another round of proofs before our next meeting. It’s funny how much joy we can get from what we love. It’s seriously so fun to work one on one with people on a piece of their big day. Getting to see the couples style and hear what vibe they want to set up for their wedding from the get go is so cool. Designing the invitations always feels like such a big job to me because it is literally the first thing people see about the couple’s big day.
Now onto the outfit! I totally scored on this leather jacket! If you’re a long time reader you know that I love my thrift stores. A new consignment store recently opened near me and it is pretty great. A bit higher end than Goodwill and they know their brands. As I was browsing I came across the above leather jacket and was happily surprised to find it a Cupcakes and Cashmere! I got it for $25! A total score compared to what her moto jackets normally sells for! You can bet I did not put that thing back down for an instant. It’s not like normal moto jackets that are popular right now, but that’s okay. I think it looks more biker chick but I love the edge that it adds to an outfit.

Love the jacket, itโs so cool, also love the styling with the pink top, added to very feminine touch to the edgy look.
