Today I wanted to share with you guys a recent smoothie recipe that I have been loving! I drink fruit smoothies pretty consistently especially after a morning work out. I’ve always seen the recipes for green smoothies, but putting vegetables with fruit just did not seem like something I would like. Then I stumbled across this recipe and was like ya know what I think I could stomach that! and I loved it! So I thought I would share with you how I’ve slowly added some green to my smoothies.
Now most recipes give you like a quantity of how much of each to add. Since I’m just making one serving I just kind of eyeball it, but I tried to measure it out for you. Also, I sometimes like to add yogurt to my smoothie, but I didn’t here. If you want to add some feel free!
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/2 cup of fruit juice
- Combine all ingredients in blender until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
