Transitioning

So many transitions are happening right now! March seems to always be a transition time period for me. Partly because it is my birthday month, partly because the weather outside starts to change, and partly because life just seems to happen. The two transitions I want to talk about today though is the weather and life! The weather here in So Cal is continuing to warm up. We are officially into our 80 degree weather stage.  It’s such an interesting time being a fashion blogger right now as depending on the location of the blogs you read, depends on the type of clothing people are talking about. I’m still seeing so many bloggers who live in other states still dealing with the snow! Some are slowly starting to pack away their coats and pull out their knitted cardigans while I am over here trying to tan my legs as it is now dress, skirt, and short season already!

Maybe it’s just me, but I always seem to have such a hard time transitioning my wardrobe. I’ve gotten so used to sweaters and jackets that when it’s time to start wearing tank tops again I always seem to be so uninspired when getting dressed! It’s always around that time that I take a shopping trip for clothes for the new season. I did that this past weekend and it really helped me! Pairing this tank top with my dark colored pants from the last season and transitioning them into spring!

Some major life transitions are happening now too! I am slowly but surely preparing for graduation. Last week I put in the order for my cap and gown, and I got my senior portraits done! Since April is my senior art show it means that everything pretty much needs to be done by the end of March. I am trying so hard not to focus on it too much and just put my nose to the grindstone and get stuff done!
