This past Saturday we drove out to Los Rios Rancho for some apple picking! This is my family’s newest tradition, and I absolutely love it! I think it is so fun and it feels more like fall up there than in the actual city I live in. It was cooler this past weekend and we even got a little rain (thank God!). Since the weather was a bit cooler, I was able to pull out a light sweater. Of course I was going to wear boots no matter what though! I am so excited that it is finally…kind of…starting to feel like fall. Barely.
Now that we have picked the apples my dad and Michael have made it very clear that they want me to make my famous apple turn overs. We had so many apples last year, and I think we got even more this year! I can’t wait for the next fall activity!

This is so cute! I’m so jealous you were able to pick apples when you went. It looks like I’ll have to head out much earlier next year. But either way, it’s still fun to trade the city for apple country for a day!
There was still very little apples even when we went! I think going closer to September is better.
Oh, good to know. I”ll be sure to keep that in mind for next year!
