Have you ever been to a national park? I have begun to fall in love with them as I start to get older. My parents took my sister and I to a few when we were younger, but I never really appreciated them until now. This past year I have been to Zion and now the Redwoods. It was so incredibly beautiful! Seeing all the amazing trees was truly incredible. God’s creation is so amazing!
When I was planning my outfit for this day of vacation I knew we would be doing a bit of walking around so I wanted to make sure I would be comfortable. I scored these adorable sparkly shoes from a thrift store while we were up there in Windsor. I had been searching for sparkly Keds so when I found these I just couldn’t pass them up! I’ll be wearing them to a certain Taylor Swift concert later this month 😉
As we were walking through the Redwoods, my family stopped to have lunch at this adorable little picnic site. Then my dad directed us to this trail which he reassured us would not be THAT much hiking. HA! It ended up being a little over 2 miles which none of us were prepared for or dressed for. It was really beautiful, but so much longer than we were expecting. In the end though, we all really enjoyed our little day trip.
